Countdown to the End of the 2026 Legislative Session
Our Sierra Club chapter has been busy at the State Capitol! And now, with just four days left in the 2026 Legislative Session, we’re in the final stretch. Key decisions are being made that will shape the future of climate policy in Connecticut—now is the time to share your voice!

Join the Ride to End Fossil Fuels at Our Community Events!
At the end of the month, about 20 bikers will ride 100 miles across Connecticut to protest the expansion of fossil fuels. Along the way, we will highlight fossil fuel infrastructure currently at threat of expansion and its impacts on our health, climate, and environment. We hope to see you along the way!

A Tribute to Retiring State Representative Mary Mushinsky
For 46 years, Mary M. Mushinsky has served as State Representative in the 85th District. Sierra Club has worked closely with Mary on many issues over the years. In 2015, she received a national Sierra Club award for her legislative efforts. Learn more about how Mary reshaped environmental protection in Connecticut.

Mitigating Climate Risk in State Pensions: How Connecticut Rates

Climate change poses a “systemic” risk that will affect companies across all markets. See how our state measures up and how you can invest in climate solutions, too.

Faces of Sierra Club Connecticut: Kate Donnelly
We are beginning a series of articles highlighting Sierra Club Connecticut members who you might like to know! We’ll begin with a member of our Executive Committee and long time environmental advocate, Kate Donnelly.
