VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Tabling and Environmental Events

Hi all volunteers!

This year we'll be tabling at the Oyster Festival in Norwalk, September 7th, 8th, and 9th! We'll be in the New England Village. We'll have hand-outs, clean energy sign ups, hands-on toys for the kids, tee-shirts and sweatshirts too! If you can spare a couple of hours to talk with your neighbors about the environmental issues of the day or just like to help kids learn about the environment, come on down! The hours are: Friday Sept. 7th 6 PM to 11 PM, Saturday Sept. 8th 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday Sept. 9th from 11 AM to 8 PM.

We are also tabling at the very popular Durham Fair! Like the last three years, we'll be in the Discovery Tent. This is always bustling with kids and grown-ups eager to learn about Connecticut's environment. The Durham Fair is September 28th, 29th, and 30th. The hours are: Friday Sept. 28th 9 AM to 11 PM, Saturday Sept. 29th 9 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday Sept. 30th from 9 AM to 7 PM.
