Directions and Bus Routes to Maltby Lakes Recreation Area:

 

Driving Directions:

Maltby Lakes is in West Haven/Orange on Route 34, 7/10 mile west of junction with Route 122 (Forest Road) in West Haven. If coming from points west, you will need to drive past Maltby and turn around at a cross street because the north and south sides of the highway are divided and Maltby will be on the other side of the divide. Look for the brown sign and metal gate at the entrance to the Maltby Lakes.

From the New Haven Green:

 

F#6: 1^st Bus leaves 9:10am; arrives 9:40am at Rt 34 and Plainfield Ave (Stop is at Maltby Lakes)

 

From Maltby Lakes:

 

F#2: Bus leaves 12:53pm; arrives 1:35pm at New Haven Green

 

Important Notes:

 

·        Buses leave hourly.

 

·        Bus service on Saturday ONLY; if the Hike is held on Sunday due to inclement weather, no bus service will be available.
